Samantha Ward
Founding Resident Artist at Chapel&Co
Samantha Ward is a contemporary British artist and the original Resident Artist at Chapel&Co, whose work combines painting and mixed media to celebrate colour, atmosphere and the joy found in everyday moments. Her vibrant paintings and mixed media works have been an important part of the Chapel&Co story from the very beginning, helping to shape our passion for art alongside coffee, flowers and beautiful things.
Her paintings are characterised by vibrant colour palettes and modern interpretations of landscape and nature. Blending artistic skill with an interior design mindset, Samantha creates pieces that not only capture a scene but also bring warmth, balance and a considered sense of mood to a space.
Her work has become highly sought after for home styling and colour coordination, with collectors drawn to her distinctive use of colour and uplifting compositions.
Born in Yorkshire, Samantha has been painting professionally for over a decade. Now based at Wimbledon Art Studios in London, she continues to maintain strong connections with the North as a resident artist with The English Art Company.

Leah Wood
British Artist & Environmental Activist
Leah Wood is a British artist and environmental activist best known for her striking paintings of nature and endangered species.
Working across a variety of mediums, Leah combines traditional oils with a distinctive mix of acrylic, glue, chalk and cling film, creating richly textured works that blur the line between painting and sculpture. Through the use of cling film, she draws attention to the impact of single-use plastics and the urgent need to protect our natural world.
Her work is characterised by an intricate process of construction, deconstruction and reconstruction, resulting in layered compositions that capture both the beauty and fragility of the environment. The textured surfaces and expressive use of colour create pieces that are both visually compelling and thought-provoking.
As the daughter of Rolling Stones guitarist and artist Ronnie Wood, Leah has been immersed in the worlds of art and music from an early age. Her extensive travels, deep connection to nature and experiences as a mother continue to inspire her work and strengthen her commitment to environmental conservation.
A graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, Leah has established herself as a sought-after contemporary artist with an international following. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries worldwide and she is widely recognised for her contribution to both the art and environmental communities.
Leah Wood is represented by HC ARTISTS.

Sophie Harden
Sophie is a professional artist based in Northamptonshire whose work is inspired by her lifelong passion for animals, both domestic and wild. With travel at the heart of her creative process, many of her paintings are influenced by encounters with wildlife around the world, particularly during regular visits to Africa.
Working with a contemporary and fluid technique, Sophie captures both movement and emotion through expressive brushwork. From explosive energy to delicate details, her paintings seek to preserve fleeting moments and the character of her subjects.
Often using white oil against vibrant backgrounds or a carefully limited palette, Sophie explores the relationship between light, colour and form. Her distinctive style encourages the viewer to engage with the subject through suggestion and movement, where a few carefully placed marks can bring an animal vividly to life.
Sophie has exhibited as a solo artist at the Osborne Studio Gallery and was a finalist in the Wildlife Artist of the Year 2024 exhibition at the Mall Galleries. She has also exhibited for consecutive years with Art for Youth, hosted private exhibitions throughout the UK, and held her debut exhibition in Kenya in 2024.
